How to do a reverse phone number lookup in internet?

I get this call every night, but there is a phone number and the name part just says "AKFD". It’s like a jumble. Is there any good way to do a reverse lookup of the number and find out where this is coming from?

You may not find every number, but you can do a few things.
    1) you can use a site like http://www.whitepages.com/10866/reverse-lookup to look up the number.
    2) you can just put the phone # into the search bar in your browser, and you will often be able to find out who owns it.
If you are getting this much "phone spam" and it’s harassing you, you can also file a police report. They will then contact the phone# to trace the calls. They won’t tell YOU who it is, but they can /will follow up on the caller. Hope the calls stop… it’s really annoying!
